Reality-Based Thinking (RBT) is Jack Pelham’s name for a philosophy that strives to be honest, rational, and responsible. To put it into a one-liner, it goes something like this: Since we live in a real world, we do best when we are good at thinking in a way that deliberately jibes with reality. And we define reality thus:
reality ~ The state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to someone’s notions, perceptions, beliefs, assumptions, attitudes, traditions, or wishes about them.
We currently have an introductory course in development and hope to have it available for remote learning as early as Fall 2022. Check back for developments.
Meanwhile, here’s a 3-part video primer on Reality-Based Thinking.
